The Photoarchive contains a large collection of historical photographs of Albuquerque and surrounding area. The photographs date from 1880 when New Town was founded to about 1950. If you have old photographs of Albuquerque and wish to donate them to the Photoarchive, please call the Museum at 505.243.7255.

The Photoarchive also produces exhibitions for the Museum and community. Brought to Light: A Great Depression Era Photographer’s Study of Albuquerque Business is a recent example.
