Board Bios and Terms


Elizabeth R. Allbright is Vice President and Commercial Lender with Century Bank in Albuquerque. Ms. Allbright is a third generation Albuquerque native and graduated with a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University and with an MBA, with an emphasis in Accounting, from Southern Methodist University. Ms. Allbright is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Perry Bendicksen, III is an attorney at Rodey Law Firm. He currently serves on the board for WESST.

Alan Blaugrund is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology and he spent 32 years practicing in Albuquerque; he retired in 2004.  Mr. Blaugrund received an AB from Stanford University and an MD from Columbia University.

Emily Blaugrund Fox is the Executive Director of the Albuquerque Museum Foundation
Thomas F. Blueher is an attorney at Hurley Toevs Styles Hamblin & Panter, P.A. Mr. Blueher was born in Albuquerque. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1977, and the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1980.

Andrew Connors is the Director of the Albuquerque Museum.
Peg Cronin opened the Mariposa Gallery with Fay Abrams in 1974, a 24 year endeavor. Born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Ms. Cronin attended West Chester University and the University of Illinois, and has lived in New Mexico for 48 years.

Stephanie Del Campo is a speech-language pathologist at Christina Brown and Associates. Ms. Del Campo earned her BA and a Master of Science from the University of New Mexico.

Other Board and volunteer affiliation: the Advisory Board for National Chi Omega, Junior League of Albuquerque Bord, UNM Young Alumni, and Ronald McDonald House.

Catherine T. Goldberg is a director in the Albuquerque office at Rodey, Dickason, Sloan, Akin & Robb, PA. Ms. Goldberg is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, and the ACMA Opinions Committee. In 2014, Ms. Goldberg received the Justice Pamela B. Minzner Professionalism Award from the State Bar of New Mexico and in 2016, was inducted into the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.

Deborah A. Good, PhD, ATR-BC, ATCS, LPAT, LPCC has worked for 25 years at Formation Counseling Services – formerly Family Therapy of Albuquerque. Ms. Good was trained in lost wax casting at Edinboro University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree; she received a Doctorate in Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from the University of New Mexico.

Other Board affiliations: the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) and the Art Therapy Credentials Board. She is twice past-president of the New Mexico Art Therapy Association.

Maria Griego-Raby is the President and Principal at Contract Associates, Inc. Ms. Griego-Raby received her BBA – Marketing from the University of New Mexico and MBA - UNM Studies at La Universidad de Las Americas in Puebla, Mexico

Patricia H. Hancock is a registered architect and a principal of SMPC Architects. Ms. Hancock has lived in Albuquerque since moving here from Alamogordo in 1976. She is a graduate of New Mexico State University and the University of New Mexico.

Marney Hupper is a nonprofit advancement professional with 20+ years of experience. Having moved to Albuquerque in March of 2016, she is currently the executive director of Sumbandila, a U.S. non-profit organization that supports transformational education in Africa by means of a world-class education and mentorship program.

Term: 2017-2020

 

Pam Hurd-Knief, a native of Hershey, PA, moved to Albuquerque in 1993. Ms. Hurd-Knief held development positions at Adelante Development Center, and the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation. Retired since 2013, Ms. Hurd-Knief is currently a consultant for the UNM School of Engineering and consultant for the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). Pam received an MS from Penn State University, an MB/GA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MA from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.

Mark Joiner, CPA, has been a practicing independent CPA and consultant in New Mexico for thirty-four years, with audit and attest engagement responsibilities for not-for-profit corporations, public registrants and closely held companies in a variety of industries.

Mark received BS and MBA degrees from the University of Missouri.

Barbara J. “BJ” Jones is president of The Inside Scoop, LLC, providing personal coaching and human resources expertise and services. BJ retired from Sandia National Labs after 25 years in Human Resources. BJ earned a BS in Medical Microbiology, and an MBA, both from Stanford University.

Other Board affiliations: United Way of Central New Mexico Women-in-Philanthropy Council, the Church of the Risen Savior, and as a Trustee for the University of New Mexico Anderson Business School Foundation, past president of the NM BioPark Society, Bosque School, All Faiths Receiving Home Foundation, United Way of Central New Mexico, Explora Science Center, and the Leadership Albuquerque Alumni Association.

Judy K. Jones was Vice President for Advancement at the University of New Mexico (retired). Ms. Jones grew up in Albuquerque and has lived and worked in New Mexico most of her life.

Patricia Kurz was raised in the home of a prominent family in Mexico City and spent her career as a diplomat, working for the Mexican Foreign Service, before being posted in 2012 at the Consulate of Mexico in Albuquerque, until her retirement in 2014.

In 2015, together with her husband Rob Kurz, she created the Kurz Foundation. Patricia has a formal training in International Relations (BA) at the ILERI Institute in Paris, France.

Joni Pierce, CFA® is a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo in 2006 and is currently a Senior Investment Strategist with The Private Bank. Ms. Pierce earned her BS and MA from the University of Nebraska.  She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Other Board and volunteer affiliations: the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of New Mexico, the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management Foundation, the New Mexico Estate Planning Council, and the Santa Fe Estate Planning Council.

Tiffany L. Roach Martin is an attorney at Modrall Sperling Lawyers and was selected as Young Lawyer of the Year in 2012 by the New Mexico. Ms. Roach Martin received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University; she attended Baylor University Law School and graduated cum laude and was an executive editor of the Baylor Law Review.

Scott Schaffer is an AANP certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in New Mexico. Mr. Schaffer practiced healthcare law for 14 in a mid-sized firm and represented Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, other health insurers, PPOs, HMOs, healthcare organizations and facilities and providers.

Term: 2018-2021

 

Judith Suiter is the president at Zephyr Design, Inc. and serves as chair on the Albuquerque Museum Trustee Board.

 

Corinne Thevenet has lived in New Mexico since 1956. Ms. Thevenet received her BA in Education from Brooklyn College in New York. Ms. Thevenet taught at U.S. Army Schools, in Munich, Germany and was a first grade teacher with the Albuquerque Public Schools. She is active in many local cultural organizations, including the Museum of New Mexico Foundation, the Albuquerque Museum Foundation, and the Albuquerque Opera Guild.

Gerard “Roddy” Thompson is an agent and financial services professional for New York Life Albuquerque, he previously worked in the event management industry. Mr. Thompson received his Bachelors of Arts in 2007 Santa Fe, NM.

Alfred H. Volden, CTIE, ASA, is the president and managing director of All World Travel, Inc., and president of Schwartzman, Inc. a closely held family corporation. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, Mr. Volden traces his family history in Albuquerque back to 1889. He attended Sandia Preparatory School and the University of New Mexico. He is also an accredited Space Agent for Virgin Galactic.

Tracey B. Weisberg has had a career ranging from Nutrition Coordinator for the Head Start Program of Fresno County, California, to working for a Fortune Five Hundred Company in New York City, to working in the apparel industry as a sales and marketing executive for key accounts for VF Corporation.

Ms. Weisberg received her B.S. from the University of Illinois.

Dean Willingham, CPA, is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) with two decades of experience in public accounting.
